nikinakinoo Posted June 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2009 Hi I have been reading on the RCCL website about My Family time dining. Does anybody have any experiance on this, it says that children will have their food within 40 mins and then AO staff collect the children from the dining room doors to allow parents to enjoy the rest of the dinner. This sounds different to the my time dining seating. So my main question is...is this based on the traditional seating? Thanks
mzk90 Posted June 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2009 It is traditional dining, you have to have the very first dining slot and arrive promptly. Then the kids will be served their meal in 40 minutes and can then be taken to the restaurant entrance where they will be collected by the AO staff. You can then carry on enjoying your meal! nikinakinoo Posted June 15, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Thankyou for your reply. This was what I was hoping and I am booked on the first seating. Hopefully this will be a god send, DD (8) is good at sitting for so long but im not sure she would deal with sitting for the whole meal, and as it will be just myself and DD it will give me a bit of a breather :)
crimlawwpb Posted June 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2009 my wife and I will be cruising for our 5th anniversary and we will be bringing our 20 month old daughter who is well behaved but not old enough (3+) to go into the my familing dining program. can we dine with her at that sitting though and for example, get our meals in 40 minutes as well and instead of her leaving with the other kids in the program the three of us will leave the dining room? Not the way we would like it but she probably couldn't sit through an hour and a half meal service.
worldtrekker Posted June 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Is there an extra fee?
