Which hotel Inn at Harbor Steps or Red Lion at 5th?

Hi,

I booked 2 hotels, "Inn at Harbor Steps" or "Red Lion at 5th". Does anyone have an opinion that has stayed at either one? The prices are both around $225.

I stayed at the Inn at Harbor Steps a few years ago and was very pleased with the hotel. I believe part of the facility is for permanent residents. We had a very large room which had a king and a double. Cute bears were placed on each bed and there were goldfish that you can take to your room if you needed a pet. I also remember a hot breakfast with a mexican type egg dish with chiles which I think I ate 1/2 of it and was ready for more, but I think they only baked one.

 

I ended up buying their cookbooks and was tempted to buy a bear too.

Of the two I'd go for Inn at Harbor Steps but those rates seem high for those properties given how things have been going this summer.

 

Have you looked at the Mayflower Park or the Andra? Both have been going for under $200 (depending on the exact dates of course) and I'd choose either of those over the two you listed.
