Buying pop between miami airport and cruiseport

Hi all, we are sailing on Valor next week and will be taking a cab from the airport in Miami to the cruiseport. Is there any where that the cab can make a quick stop so we can buy a 12 pack of pop and will we be able to take it aboard the ship? Thanks for the info.

Lots of places. Just tell the cabbie and he will make a stop along the way where convenient.

Your cabbie will be happy to stop - but you need to understand that their are extra charges for this service above the flat rate of $24 + tip from MIA to POM. Negotiate these before you get into the cab (probably $5-10 to stop at a 7-11 type place not too far off his path). Good luck!:)

Please ask the cab drive to stop at a Publix, Winn Dixie, CVS or Walgreens on the way to the port of Miami. Don't know how much he/she would charge you for the stop. Have a great cruise!:)

Uhm, they don't sell "pop" in Florida - that's a northern beverage. We have coke (or soda) down here. :D
