papadave Posted June 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2009 This will be our second trip to Seward. Last year we went to Exit Glacier and enjoyed it very much, but don't think it is something we need to repeat right away. I recall others telling me about taking a guided ride and seeing bears and wildlife. Does anyone have any information about land-based tours in Seward? We also would love to see some whales, but don't want to book whale watching in advance. Last year, by the time we reached Seward, we had spotted plenty of whales and did not see the need to spend a lot of time looking for more whales. We're considering boats (the smaller the better) or kayaks. Anyone who can share their experience, please chime in.
