If you like seafood you will find several good restaurants on the Causeway. From the Radisson you will need to get onto Government St East and go through the tunnel. This comes out onto the Causeway (don't get up on I-10 here). If you go down there will be several restaurants. My favorite is Ed's Seafood Shed (About 2 miles give or take) which is on the right (Blue Building)

There are alot of good restaurants on Battleship Prkwy. One thing you might want to look for in these restaurants is one that serves royal red shrimp. these shrimp will knock your socks off

We always enjoy the Original Oyster House down by the USS Alabama - we've eaten there a few times over the years. Had a really good meal at Felix's Fish Camp. It's very close to the battleship as well.

mobile isn't on the east coast...it would be gulf coast!

The Original Oyster House on the Causeway (Battleship Parkway) would get my vote, but anywhere on the Causeway would not be walkable if you don't have a car. You would have to go through one of the tunnels. I don't know how far Wintzell's is from the Raddison, so I'm not sure about walking that either (I don't go downtown very often.) but it would certainly be more walkable than the Causeway.
