Good environmental compliance by Princess in Alaska

During our cruise over the last 2 weeks aboard Pacific Princess, we had a person from the Ocean Ranger program on board. I chatted with him, and he explained that he was monitoring environmental compliance for the state of Alaska. He went on to say what a pleasure it was to inspect a Princess ship and that they were leaders in this area. He also said that he viewed the ship as very well run. Nice to know all the stuff we passengers don't see are handled well.
