Just want to thank you for all the information you provided to us (and many others) about Oahu, etc. We had a wonderful visit on your island, and your recommendation for us to enjoy a plate lunch on the north side at Masa & Joyce's Okazuya II Japanese Deli was a good one. Very good indeed. It rained on us almost all day after we left the Hanauma Bay area, and by the time we reached the Dole Plantation, it was a real "gully-washer!" It took us almost two hours to drive from there back to Honolulu because it was raining so hard! Wow! Anyway, your recommendations and suggestions were "right on," and you certainly deserve a big "thank you" from us. Again, MAHALO, Spleen!

Divetex - glad you enjoyed it. Masa & Joyce's is a real local hangout and is definitely a mom&pop type of place. Sorry about the rain (you must have been here during our last downpours). Sounds like it didn't affect your enjoyment of the island too much though ... :)
