Do we need to bring athletic shoes for rock climbing?

Hello Everyone,

 

We are leaving in the morning to sail on the Freedom of the Seas, and are all packed and ready to go...EXCEPT, I'm not certain if we need to bring athletic shoes (tennis/running/cross trainers) to do the rock climbing wall. I sure don't want to pack them if they're not needed.

The ship provides special climbing shoes. No need to bring athletic shoes unless you plan to visit the gym/fitness centre or do some hikes on land.

Nope. Shoes are provided, though you do need socks.

One thing people sometimes overlook - if you want to ice skate you must wear long pants...

Wear long socks. Ship will give you special shoes to climb.
