Brugges taxi don't use

Recommended Posts

WE just returned from this wonderful city. We booked transfers with Brugges taxi service and they were waiting for us when we got off the ship. The fee is 45 euros one way and you have to pay when you get there. We arranged for the driver to pick us up at 3:00 and he never came back to get us. This happened to around 30 people and there were no taxis to be seen. We all rode the city bus to the train station to try to get the train back to the ship in time. The train doesn't run every hour and the next train got everyone back right at saing time. The train station is a good 20 minute walk from the port. Fortunatly the ship was informed of the taxi problem and waited for the group. This was a scary stressful time for everyone. I reccomend you use the ship transfers and not take a chance on the taxi service as they don't care if you miss the ship or not.

I take it you mean a particular company rather than the taxis in general? We experienced an excellent service from taxis in Brugge- they went out of their way to be helpful, were punctual and the drivers gave us great advice.
