Aliante,spain and elche

Recommended Posts

English in Spain - not too much. We'll skip it and spend the day in Alicante.

Do you recommend any shops in Alicante for handicrafts? Also is there a specific order of visiting the city?

Have you though of taking the tour to Guadalest? There are shops selling handicrafts there.

I do not think there is enough to see and do in Alicante itself to fill an entire day. The shopping here is not designed for tourists. Alicante is not a city designed for tourists. It is a proper Spanish town.

Another trip you might consider is Elche.

What time of year are you visiting? We have some wonderful beaches - some of the best in Europe.

thank you for the information its been very helpful. Seems like a beautiful place to visit with many sights within walking distance. I just hope that it does not rain. We love to walk, but in the rain a bus seems like a better choice.
