Bojangles Posted June 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Is there any difference in a V-Balcony state room, or is it the same as any other Vn or vs or V whatever. We have just a V on the navigation deck.
catl331 Posted June 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2009 I don't know the answer, but it looks like the balcony might be a little deeper than the side VA/VB/VC ... like the VDs. I'd like to know the answer too! :)
jtl513 Posted July 1, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Just bumping this up to the top. Can anybody tell us the differences, if any, between a Navigation deck V and the Vx on other decks?
Aunty Pat Posted July 1, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2009 The fare is higher for V’s because they are mid-ship from the VA’s. On the Vista Class Ships this mid-ship area on the Navigation Deck is where the SY suites are. 2cruisealot Posted July 2, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Hi, I asked a question about the verandahs on the Oosterdam and got some helpful general information that may help... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=998486&highlight=
jtl513 Posted July 2, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Hi, I asked a question about the verandahs on the Oosterdam and got some helpful general information that may help... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=998486&highlight= Yes, I know about that thread thanks, as I was one of the providers of info there! :D The V cabins that I and the OP are curious about only exist on the Navigation deck of the Eurodam. The deck plans make the balconies look a little deeper than the side VA/VB/VC, and I saw a post once where the person said they were 10 ft wide, which would make them 1 ft wider than the VA/VB/VC if it is true. I'm looking for someone who has stayed in one to tell me if the cabin and/or balcony are larger than the side VA/VB/VC. :)
jena1 Posted July 2, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 2, 2009 DH and I were on the Eorodam in April and had a V cabin. No difference from the other verandas except you are high up. I t was actually a great cabin, just off the mid elevators, close to everything.:)

Bojangles Posted July 2, 2009 Author #10 Share Posted July 2, 2009 thank you I have the information I was looking for. It seems V is because it is high up and this seems to be the only reason.
