pre-reserve supper club?

We just booked the Legend for July 12. I have read about prebooking the supperclub and wonder if it is necessary, especially as we usually dine early. How do you know which are the "not so formal" nights? We did Alaska on the Coral Princess last summer and the steak house had pleanty of seats every single night. The italian choice was completely empty, as far as we could see.

So do we really need to reserve now? And how do you know which night is which in the dining room?

The Legend will have the first formla night/Captain's Dinner on the first sea day...The second formal night should be Roatan. I tend to book the supper club in advance.

I have known people who have made reservations while on the ship. I you want a certain date for the Supper Club. I would think it wouldn't hurt to make a reservation before you sail. We want one for our Ann. so we made our about two months ago. This will be the first time we have tried the Supper Club.
