Star's dock location in Puerto Vallarta

We are meeting friends, who are wintering near Guadalajara, on Thursday Jan. 13 when the Star is in Puerto Vallarta. Can anyone who has been on the Star give us helpful information to give them so they'll know where best to park their car, and to meet us when we come off the ship (at I guess about 10:30 local time)?

 

Also, can you confirm that the Star definitely docks there -- no tenders?

I think it docks opposite the WalMart.

It doesn't definately dock there, if there is another ship there you will tender in. I have already been there and we did tender.

Whether you dock or tender in, you will still arrive right across the street from the PV Walmart & Sam's Club --- that's all north of the city center. It seems to me there is a parking lot right there. However, your friends could park on the outer limits of the Sam's Club parking lot and just walk across the street.

I see there are 2 ships in P.V. that day and ours arrives 2nd, so tenders here we come!
