Ruins question

Has anyone done the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins in Belize. We were thinking of doing it this year. How does it compare to the Altun Ha Mayan that is the one we did on our last cruise.

Have you posted this question over on the Belize Port of Call board? I know that this past May when we sailed on the Valor, we went to Altun-Ha simply because it was closer to the port.

We did Xunantunich last week through the ship. It was a great tour. It is a long day, but our guides gave us so much info on Belize and the Mayans during the drive, the time just flew by. If you do this tour, do it through the ship since it is so long - that way if there are any problems, the ship will wait on you.
