RCI - Jungle Beach Break

In RCI's shore excursion info, the Jungle Beach Break is said the have an "open bar". Does this mean free booze, or a bar with no walls, or a bar that's open from AM to PM?

I've done the beach break. It's free booze and soft drinks.

 

My family and I had a good time on the beach break but prefer the true Mexican experience in the town of Mahahual.

 

You won't be able to get the great food on the beach break. It cost us $36 to do the beach break. I would recommend spending $36 in town on booze and food. You will still be able to put down quite a few drinks with that money, enjoy great food, some shopping and the beach is free.

You can take a taxi to Mahahual. It's a stones throw from the pier. As far as restaurants - there seems to be a lot of raving reviews about Tapas Bar on this site.
