Embarking/Disembarking questions

Recommended Posts

On Thursday this week, we were asked to put out our bags by 11pm, by letter and via the TV disembarkation instructions. We didn't mind but I do accept that it is a party killer to have to get back and pack around 10pm. By necessity we carry very little so it is night wear and essentials only left out for us.

It has been 11:00 p.m. on all of our cruises. Our next cruise, however, Regent booked us out of Nice at 7:30 a.m. which means a VERY early morning departure. It will be interesting to see if we will be asked to have our bags out earlier. I suspect that there are many passengers booked on this flight because there are no direct flights from Nice to the U.S. or Canada (that I am aware of). They are putting us on Lufthansa to Frankfurt where everyone can then board a flight home.
