Southampton Parking

Has anyone had any experience of the free parking at Southampton port. Ie How far is it from the ship?, Do you drop luggage off first, then park and walk back? Do you have to wait long to get into the car park?

 

Any info would be helpful.

Hi

if it was in with your cruise (ie RCI package), I believe its the same parking that's available to purchase separately for the RCI cruises, right next to the ship. You drop your bags, go park the car and then walk back to the terminal.

Its so easy. Peace of cake. Pull up. Drop luggage off. Drive 30 seconds and park car. Walk back (1 min....) The best!

When I had free parking at Southampton we could see the car from the ship. We dropped the bags off first at a bag drop then parked up. It was less than a 5 min walk to the terminal.
