Setting up the onboard expense account w/cash

When I checked in last month told them I was putting cash on my SS she directed me to a line for cash and told me to go there. I did not go into that line. But instead got on the boat. For the record I did not put any money on any ss card. I did not buy anything period. So it can be done.

When I was setting up my documents I chose to use my debt card. Now after reading that a hold might be put on my card, I would like to change and use cash. Does anyone know if you can change it before the cruise or do you have to wait til check in.

Good question

I do know it won't be a issue to do it when checking in. They have to swipe your card. I have changed it to cash at check in a few times.
