memebop Posted July 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Does anyone know if the non-refundable deposit on Carnival's "Early Saver" price is covered when you have insurance, or do you just lose your money if you have to cancel?
AlanAllyn Posted July 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2009 If you bought insurance other than from Carnival, it should be covered if you cancel for a covered reason (health, death in family, etc.). Most insurance does not cover you if you cancel for no reason.

Check the wording of your policy. I always purchase insurance which covers any "non-refundable" expenses I've made -- and the Early Saver deposit is one of those.
