Insurance coverage question

Does anyone know if the non-refundable deposit on Carnival's "Early Saver" price is covered when you have insurance, or do you just lose your money if you have to cancel?

If you bought insurance other than from Carnival, it should be covered if you cancel for a covered reason (health, death in family, etc.). Most insurance does not cover you if you cancel for no reason.

Check the wording of your policy. I always purchase insurance which covers any "non-refundable" expenses I've made -- and the Early Saver deposit is one of those.
