How early can baggage be checked in N.Y.

We are arriving at JFK at 6:00 AM for the Aug 29th "Carib. Princess " sailing from New York and will be taking a cab to the ship. We would like to do some sightseeing prior to getting on the ship. Does anyone know how early we can drop off our luggage at the cruise terminal or any suggestions on what to do with our bags ?

you can drop off checked bags at around 11 am at the cruise terminal but I would suggest going to the Brooklyn Marriott giving the doorman a $20 and saying you will be meeting someone there later....take the subway to Manhattan and see what you want come back and take a cab to the cruise terminal....in Red Hook(personally I would call Arecibo 7187836465 when you get back there and they will come AND know where the cruise terminal is....for About $10.00)
