E606 - Star Princess - Great View for Fully Obstructed

Just returned last night, or should I say early this morning? The Star is my new favorite ship! I had no intention of returning to Alaska this year, but the prices were too good. My intent was to make is an economical trip, so based on information on the boards, I selected this cabin. It is considered a fully obstructed. For the price paid, it was outstanding. I will definitely choose it again based on the itinerary. I did not miss having a balcony since we only went to Tracy Arm and we viewed from the very windy front of the ship. Would still want a balcony to Glacier Bay, though.

I wouldn't even consider 606 partially obstructed, but Princess doesn't differentiate between a little bit and a lot. They call them all obstructed if there's even a tiny bit in the way.

Just wanted to say thanks for the review that included PICTURES!! I have reserved this room for my father-n-law and brother-n-law on our 15 day Hawaiian Islands cruise. Great value cause it is listed as "FULLY OBSCURED VIEW", but obviously from your pictures it is not. :-)
