jstducky Posted July 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I've read in Rick Steves' book that it's best to purchase your tickets to return to the mainland for a later time than what you are planning, then if you finish earlier, you can always catch and earlier hydrofoil, but if you book it for too early a hydrofoil and you miss your time, that's it for your ticket. Is this the case? For instance, if I am planning on taking a noon hydrofoil from Capri to Sorrento... should, I book for say a 2 or 3 pm hydrofoil, and then just come down to Marina Grande and catch the noon hydrofoil, if I can make it? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
