:DI just got the inaugural issue of the "FUN TIMES", Carnival's electronic newsletter. For all you fans, and I know there are many, it has the recipe for chocolate melting cake.

Bye all, I'm running to the store now!

1 pound Dark Chocolate

1 pound Butter

10 Eggs

10 ounces Sugar

6 ounces Flour

Melt the chocolate and butter. Mix the eggs with the sugar and whisk for a few minutes;

add the flour. Combine the egg mixture with the melted chocolate and mix. Then pour into

individual greased molds. Bake directly in the oven at 400° F for 14 minutes.

Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar and garnish with fresh fruit. Serve warm with ice cream.

Note: Please make sure that the eggs are at room temperature and the chocolate is warm enough while making the mixture.

I found these cups at Walmart for $1.99 apiece. You will need about 20 of them.

Here's the recipe from the newsletter. It doesn't say how many

8 oz semisweet chocolate

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

7 eggs, divided use

6 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter; cool 10 minutes. In separate bowl, mix four eggs with sugar. Whisk. Add flour and whisk. Add remaining three eggs. Add egg mixture to chocolate mixture. Pour in individual ramekins. Bake until just done, about 15-20 minutes (interior will be melting). Serve with vanilla ice cream.

How many does the recipe make???

Thanks

The recipe I posted makes about 20 servings using the cups from Walmart. The recipe came from the appetizers list Carnival had when they did their nationwide Houseparty.
