2mos Posted December 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2004 Does RCCL offer anything like the "surreal bath" (not sure of spelling) in the spa? We did one on a Disney cruise and enjoyed it immensely.
Sea Island Lady Posted December 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2004 Are you referring to the 'couples' spa/mud bath? If you are, some RCCL ships offer this, but I can tell you that you that it will never be the same after the Disney experience. We tried it twice on the RCCL ships and it just wasn't the same. ducklite Posted December 23, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 23, 2004 Yes, RCCL calls it the Rasul Chamber I believe. We also tried it on DCL and were left wondering what everyone was raving about. Just our opinion. Anne
Sea Island Lady Posted December 23, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2004 ducklite - Wasn't Goofy in the Rasul chamber with you? :D With three, the experience gets better. Just kidding of course!
2mos Posted December 23, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted December 23, 2004 Thanks for the info. We were wondering why there were 3 "carrels" on the Disney ship. My DH likes to spends his time looking for someone to join us.

Yeah, Goofy was there alright--in the shape of a middle aged man with a receding hairline--but a nice butt thanks to his marathon running LOL! FinelyCruising Posted December 23, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 23, 2004 You guys are funny! :D This is a treatment I have read on these boards about often, but never really wanted to try. It seems so ho-hum to me for some unknown reason. What did Disney do differently that made it better?
Sea Island Lady Posted December 24, 2004 #8 Share Posted December 24, 2004 For starters, the facilities were nicer. I guess Disney being a first time experience with the Rasul just made it special and memorable.;)
maryr65 Posted December 24, 2004 #9 Share Posted December 24, 2004 We just returned from the Mariner. Our first rasul experience was on the Wonder. I agree with Sea Lady. The rasul room on the Wonder was configured better than the one on the Mariner. However, we still enjoyed the experience.
2mos Posted December 27, 2004 Author #10 Share Posted December 27, 2004 I think this is only a fun experience if you have someone fun to share it with.
