In Saint John either Billys Seafood which is located at the uphill end of the City Market (between the entrance doors) or Steamers which is located directly across the street from Pugsley Cruise Terminal.

 

In Halifax I really enjoy Saltys on the waterfront.

Sapper1 & CS4225: Thank you for your input. I've been googling restaurants in those ports and several of those are ones that I have been looking at, but wanted to be sure. That is my one "for sure and for certain" thing that I want to do: eat fresh Atlantic lobster. I actually really don't care how much it cost!

How could I have forgotten the Cows?:confused: No trip to Halifax or Charlottetown is complete without it.

In Halifax you have a number of good options for seafood which are within walking distance of the cruise pier. My three favourites are:

Salty's

The Five Fishermen

McKelvies

As far as location, Salty's is right on the waterfront so the view is IMHO the nicest.

The Five Fishermen have a mussel bar that is yummy (if you like mussels)

Cow's is excellent! I have to drive to Niagara-on-the-lake to get my fix.
