Embarkation time - CB - Brooklyn

Hi there,

Looking forward to our first Princess Cruise - Canada and New England out of Brooklyn in August on the CB. Our itinerary says that we can check in between 1pm and 4pm and should arrive after 2pm for a faster check-in. We'd like to get on board as early as possible - we'll be staying in Manhattan the night before. Can anybody tell us what time we should aim to be at the cruise terminal?

Last year when we sailed out of Red Hook, Princess started boarding around 11:30 am. Enjoy your cruise:)

We take a red eye to NY so we are at the pier by 8:30. We stop at one of the local Bodega's and grab breakfast sandwichs then we people watch until boarding which is around 12:00. ;)

On June 29 we got to the terminal around noon. They had already started boarding. There was no wait to check-in. We had to wait around 15 minutes for them to call out the boarding group number we were assigned.

Just came off the July 8th sailing. Got there at 11:40 and was allowed to board. Think it starts at 11:30. There are virtually no lines at that time. Enjoy your cruise.

Colo...how early will they start collecting luggage? Will they let us in to wait in the terminal? Thx
