bruceboni Posted December 23, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2004 I will be cruising on the NCL Sun in February and wanted to know if anyone knows if you can bring your own liquor on board in order to have a drink in your cabin?

TWA4Ever Posted December 27, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2004 This and formal dress are the threads which cause the most commotion on these boards! For what it is worth, and not taking sides, here is a quote from the NCL Passenger Ticket Contract, paragraph 4 (from the NCL website): "Passenger is not allowed to bring on board the vessel without the previous written permission of the Carrier any intoxicating liquors or beverages ..." Corl4 Posted December 27, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2004 Just spoke with NCL today regarding bringing wine on our Jan. 1 trip. According to the person I spoke with, wine may be carried aboard. That is a change in policy which took place about 2 months ago. BUT, we have to get permission to carry on diet tonic water, even though they don't serve it on the ship! Go figure...... Beth
