Aruba - Polynesia

Anyone been to Aruba lately and seen the sailing ship Polynesia docked. It's the old Windjammes ship. DH and I were there end of Jan of this year and I was immediately infatuated with her. What a beauty, in her time, built in 1938 and on the cover of National Geo in the 50's. Now she sits waiting and wasting away, sad. Just wondering it she was still there.

She was still there in February. We sailed on her out of Aruba in 2002. There are few sights sadder than a neglected ship.

Thanks for the reply Joe, I noticed a lot of folks had read this post but no replies, makes me think she may be gone now. :( What a beauty she was.
