First time to St. Thomas island/ beach tour or day sail

Can someone help me out. We will be in St. Thomas 10-8pm. I've read great things about day sails but want to see the island and beaches too. Thinking about papa bear tour or island girl.

I'd go for the island tour, because you'll see more, and papa bear is a great guide.

 

On some of the 1/2 day sails, you spend more time getting to and from the destination, and don't really get to see much variety. With papa bear, you get a portion of the time on land seeing a lot, and then about as much time as you would on a day sail in the water.

For me the beautiful clear water is the draw so I highly recommend day sails. We've sailed three times with Captain Pat on Independence. Beautiful clean 44' sailboat, delicious lunch and rum punch! www.independence44.us

We're in STT again in November, but our ship's itin got changed so drastically we can only swing a 1/2 day sail. Better than no sail!

i agree. you'll have a great time seeing the island, and papa bear is a great guide. he has different tour packages so you can choose where you want to go & what you want to do. we had an awesome time with him in december! :D

We used Kathleen of Highpockets for our Daysail. We go again in November & I can't wait. It has by far been the best excursion I've done in 15 cruises.
