Embarkation In San Juan - AOS

I will sailing on AOS in Jan '05. I will be arriving in San Juan a day early, so will be able to board AOS during the earlier hours of the 1st day of cruising. Is there another way to board the ship once you have already gone through the initial "check-in"? I would like to explore San Juan a bit before sailing and not have to contend with the crowds more than once.

Once you check in and get your room key-boarding card you will be able to get on and off the ship as if at any other port. So go ahead and check in early, drop your stuff off in the cabin and go out and have fun.
