Feedback on your experience with RCCL's "My Family Time Dining"

We just got off Vision of the Seas this morning with our kids, 9 and 11. When we booked we were offered MFTD so we chose it, yet once on board, we never heard a thing about it.

The first night there is no Adventure Ocean (well, an hour to get to know you and sign up). The second and third nights, they had the option to dine WITH the AO staff (the kids) for free and we took advantage on the third night...but that was not considered MFTD. The last night, there was no dinner option. There was a 2 hour lunch option with the staff but it cost $7.95 so we took the opportunity to have some family pool time.

We were a little confused as to why it was offered when booking, but then not mentioned on board. We saw no one at the dining room doors at the advertised pick up time, but with a 6pm seating, we were finished and at AO by 7:30 and it seemed like AO didnt gear up their evening activities until 7:45 which would cater to the first seating diners.....so having MFTD was a mute point.
