St. Tropez & Toulon

I am cruising in November and will be in St Tropez from 8 am - 11pm and Toulon from 7 am - 6pm ... long days!

This is my first cruise and I'm traveling single so private tours aren't cost effective unless those on the roll call want to join in.

I love the idea of wine & cheese tastings, strolling around taking in the sights, and viewing especially panoramic scenery but don't especially want to take ship excursions.

Will I have good luck with public transpo? Is there anything I need to be sure and see?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Jennifer

Is smaller and much more quaint than Toulon which is not nearly the picturesque French village that one yearns for. Their is public transport in the area, but where to go . . .

Check your port dates and the St Tropez tourism office

http://www.ot-saint-tropez.com/ they sometimes have a market which is nice. It is quaint and has some charm. Do eat in town there are many lovely cafes and ships food does get old.
