Both times we were there we hired an English speaking cab driver. We paid him %50 for the day and he stayed with us and got paid at the end. We went shoping, to the fort and spent some time at the beach. Both times about 4 or 5 hours. PH

Hi

We went out on the dock and "interviewed" several drivers. We ended up with a driver and his father, who acted as guide. He spoke perfect English and knew much about his city. We selected the things that the tours did that we wanted to see and also stopped at a grocery store (supermercado)and bought wonderful Columbian coffee at a tiny price. I only regret I didn't buy one of the primitive quilts--but they were tooo expensive.

Have fun!
