Beach Day in Aruba ?

Hi Everyone! We are stopping in Aruba for half a day on our Panama Cruise. Would like to "hit the beach"! Can anyone tell me if taxis are readily available at the port as well as at the beach for a return trip? Would we be better off booking a beach excursion through Princess?

Would love your feedback:D

You might also consider hitting Eagle Beach which is close and easy to reach via public bus from the cruise terminal. For more beach choices, like Palm Beach, just stay on the bus.

You can easily get to Palm Beach via taxi for $10 or via local bus for $1.30 per person. There is a free shuttle from the ship to the cruise ship terminal. To catch a bus, simply exit the terminal, turn right, and cross the street to the Bus Terminal --- an orange building with white columns and benches. Take the #10 "Hotels" bus. Eagle comes up pretty fast, otherwise wait for Palm Beach which has several stops.

Thanks for the info, my only question would be - can you get a bus ride back to the cruise ship pretty easy?
