Sundays in Gdansk and Stockholm

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Oceania Regatta boarding in Stockholm September 5th. Our full day of seeing this city will be on Sunday the 6th with departure at 5.00 p.m. The Regatta is also in Gdansk on a Sunday from 8.00a.m. to 2.30p.m.

We want to do these cities on our own, will we have more difficulty finding public transportation on a Sunday? All the information I've found on this site about buses and trains seem to be for weekdays.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

We were in Stockholm on a Sunday, docked at Frihamnen. We took public transportation to get into town on Sunday, and found that the bus schedule was reduced from weekdays. We took the bus from the dock to the subway. The bus ran less frequently on weekends, and one route was cancelled, but we were still able to use the bus. The subway was fine.
