Trying to think of what I can talk my husband into watching this weekend to get in the "cruise mood!" Not that I need it, but I'd enjoy it anyway!

Heres what I can think of just of the top of my head:

1. Titantic, of course

2. Posiden (spelling?)

3. Speed 2

Sorry for the repeat question, but let's face it, aren't most of them on here like that.... like, whats that one.... ummm.... something about how to dress in the dining room.... :D

"Out to Sea" Certainly no oscar winner, but cute.

Not a movie, but the Love Boat Season 1 is out on DVD as well as the first half of season 2. One of my favorite shows growing up and I can remember wanting to take a cruise ever since then. Going back now as an adult and watching them has been lots of fun - laughing at the ridiculous story lines, checking out the episodes actually shot on the ship with regular passengers as background extras, and seeing what "stars" would show up on each episode is neat.

The next half of season 2 actually comes out next week.

It's one of my favourite topics, so I'm happy to see it again!

- Out to Sea (the BEST!)

- Into the Sunset

- Muppet Treasure Island (hahahaha)

- Captain Ron

- The Perfect Storm (well, maybe not so successful)

- Boat Trip (I have never seen it, but someone mentioned it yesterday)

and for the tropical vacation feel:

- 6 days, 7 nights

- 50 First Dates

- Casino Royale

.....I made him watch Poseidon (2006 with Kurt Russel) with me. After the movie he asked me why. I told him "So we would know what to do if a rogue wave hit the ship".

Don't be in the Disco when it hits. Electrocution is bad!

;)

1) A Night to Remember. Five star movie. Saw this before my first cruise.

2) Out to Sea. Love Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon combo.

3) The Posiden Adventure. Gene Hackman and Shelly Winters. Good movie.

DON'T! I looked it up and rented it. It may very well be the worst movie I have ever seen in my life, highly offensive and very near pornographic. Makes you wonder what Oscar-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. was thinking when he read the script. It's trash. The only redeeming factor is Roger Moore.

Sounds like a must see movie. I'm on my way to Blockbuster now to pick it up.:p
