Looking for help with Shore Excursions on Adventure of the Sea Cruise on September 27

My husband and I will be traveling on The Adventure of the Sea departing from San Juan on the 7 day Southern Caribbean. We are looking to book excursion in each port but we don't want to pay RC big bucks... Any suggestions.

St Lucia

Antigua

St Maarten

St Croix

If you go to the boards here for each port you'll get a lot more response, and learn a lot by reading the threads at each one.

We have yet to do a ship excursion for any of these ports. Here is what we have enjoyed on our own:

 

Barbados: you can go to the Boatyard and/or one of the rum factory tours (Mt. Gay or Malibu). There are plenty of cabs so it's easy to get around.

 

St. Lucia: COSOL tours! This is about $65 pp for a full day of sightseeing, food, and all you can drink. Your group will be picked up at the pier. We were very impressed with this tour.

 

Antigua: tons of good beaches. You can walk to the bus station and travel cheaply to one of many beautiful beaches to relax for the day.

 

St. Maarten: renting a jeep is fun and you can go to Orient Beach, Maho Beach, and the French capital of Marigot. Phillipsburg is also a nice area to wander around.

 

St. Croix: Never been...
