jennlynnmahan Posted August 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2009 We are looking at booking the Main deck of the Triumph. We found a room toward the center of the boat and then realized it will be right over the casino. I have 2 year old twins so we will probably be in the room pretty early each night. Just was wondering if we there would be a possibility that we would hear the casino in our room. Don't want to disturb sleeping babies! Would love to hear anyone's experiences with staying over the casino in any of the ships.

My wife and I had a room on the Conquest over the casino. The problem was the band that played in the casino had thier speakers turned upwards towards the ceiling, and it was loud and vibrated the whole room. I am not a complainer and I think Carnival is a great cruise line but this is the only time that I actually complained to the pursres office out of 11 cruises. deannasch Posted August 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2009 I asked the same question as our room right above the casino also. Got mixed messages. One person said they deliberately pick those rooms as they are quiet and others say they are noisy. It may depend on what ship it is, and how old it is. mistyinca Posted August 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Yeah...the band at the casino can be loud. If you go to bed early its a problem. It was usually playing around midnite when we went to bed but stopped sometime later. I can't say when it stopped because I fell asleep!

sealpup Posted August 2, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2009 We had one of those rooms on the Liberty and it was not to bad unless some loud mouth was hitting it good on the tables then you heard an occasional yell but otherwise it was not bad.
