Sagrada Familia - elevator to the top?

Our family is interested in going to the top of the tower to view the city, but someone told me that you had to walk down very steep stairs to exit. Does anyone have any further info about this?

Also, we want to go the la Pedrera (Casa Milo) when it turns into a bar at night. I understand that it is quite beautiful. Has anyone done this?

Thanks in advance.

We did the elevator in May, and I highly recommend it! Great views of the city and the cathedral.

You can take the elevator back down. A lot of people choose to walk down the stairs, as we did, and I do recommend doing so if you are physically able. It's true they are steep, but you'll see more great views and get a good perspective on the towers. But for those who aren't able to walk down the stairs, the elevator was available.
