Canadien taxis accept US dollars?

We've booked an independent tour with the Reversing Falls jetboat ride. We are planning on taking a taxi from the ship to their location. Does anybody know if the taxis will accept US dollars readily, or should we get Canadien dollars?

They will accept US dollars, not just Canadian dollars, but expect that they will do so at PAR, in other words one for one and change will be given in Canadian dollars.

Most Canadian (not the spelling does not contain an E) taxis will take US currency, as well as VISA and Mastercard.
