San Juan Clubs

We will be arriving on the Miracle ,August 15th at 3:00 P.M. We thought that we would walk aroud Old San Juan in the afternoon. In the evening we thought that we would go to some of the clubs. Can anyone give us some suggestions as to which clubs to go to. We are a couple in our 50's. Are the clubs near the pier? What time is a good time to go? Any information would be appreciated.

if you are in the historic district you can find lounges around Calle Fortaleza, and also in Calle San Sebastian, there are also tapas bar in many streets, there are many and nightlife starts late at night during weekends. You can also find nightlife in the hotels located close to the historic district in the condado areas as well, for example Condado plaza and Mariott Stellaris.
