Quest cabin - Obstructed view

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding Azamara Quest.

Ocean View cabins with an obstructed view - Category 7.

How small are they and is the view completely obstructed or just partly.

Does somebody have an experience in cruising in such cabin?

Thank you very much!

Had one on the Journey--should be the same.

One could see some sea by looking through the lifeboat. If one stepped far left, then looked way right, might see some sea.

However, when we tendered, we could watch the whole procedure from above.

As I recall, there was only one not-very-comfortable chair.

Was it small--yes. Was my wife happy? Not very--but the trip was great, the crew was great, and the price was certainly right (Brazil to Miami)

Have since travelled again on Journey--this time with balcony. My wife was happier.

Thank you very much for the info.

Do you suggest to upsell to a balcony?

We are going to have port intensive cruse with 1 sea day, but

do not want to feel like in a small box.

Hi mvkor:

Notice you are still sailing on the Rotterdam in January 2010. On a previous posting on the January Roll Call you said there were three of you on that cruise. Could you please post on the Rotterdam January 4 Roll Call and let us know your names? Thanks, Chemmy

Thank you very much for info.

But as I understood all of category 7 cabins are very small - right?

Hi Mvkor !

The category 7 cabins are 143 sq feet. You can use this as a comparison. I hope this helps. Enjoy your Cruise !
