Carnival Freedom Drydock?

Is the Carnival Freedom scheduled for drydock any time soon?

Why would you think it would go into drydock? It is only a couple of years old.

Any ideas as to upgrades? Or will this just be a scheduled maintenance sort of thing?

I would think, since it is a faily new ship, probably just some maintenance. Maybe new carpet in some areas and a bit of spiffin up. The only reason I know about the drydock is because I am doing a btb on her in October.

I'd like to mention something here that truly upsets me that i noticed on our Freedom cruise this past January. I can't believe that someone would vandalize a ship by using some sort of sharp object to scratch deeply into the beautiful elevator doors. But yes, it was there. I can only imagine what thoughtless person did this......:mad:

Can't beleive someone would do that to an elevator. I just booked the Freedom for 02/28/10. Can't wait to go. Did get category 6C upgrade for a 4C price.

But obviously was thinking wrong. I know when I worked for Hilton we would go through a "soft" remodel (Carpet, drapes) every four/five years and a hard remodel (construction) every 10 to 12 years.

 

Guess she's older than four or five???
