Pre-purchase train tickets from Cannes?

My stop with Century in Cannes is on a Sunday. I'm planning a DIY to Cap Ferrat via train to Nice or Bealuieu and bus to the Cap. Is it a good idea to buy the tickets now on the SNCF site or purchase on arrival in Cannes? I've read that the line-ups at the tickets window can be slow.

Anyone have a recommendation for train to Nice vs Villefranche vs Beaulieu since the Cap Ferrat bus includes each of these places?
