Class of Ship Questions??

Hey Guys,

 

I am not very familiar with Carnival. What are the different ship classes? All I know is the "fun ship" class: Sensation, Imagination, etc. What is the "nicest" or most "posh" class? Spirit?

 

What ships are in that class?

I've only been on the Spirit, but I loved the layout. Everything flowed really well, never felt like there was 2000+ people on board. Many of the sitting areas were empty or virtually empty. The cabins are very large compared with other ships (this from my friend who has cruised alot) The only problem I found was with the Lido buffet area. I love that they have it broken down into different sections, but the walkways past these stations are also where the lines are causing a bit of a bottleneck.
