Taxi tour

Since there are only two of us looking for a tour, would it be better to wait until we get off of the ship and find a taxi tour rather than book ahead of time. We have been put on tours with other people when booking and sometimes that has been great and other times it has not. When you book through a taxi, will they take just the two of us? and does anyone know the pricing?

Guess it depends on if you want to have something planned or go on your own schedule. Not sure how much the group tours you are thinking about are, we got off the ship pretty late (late night at the casino) and found a taxi driver to take us to Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley's Heights and a beach. Cost was decently high possibly at $80 for the two of us - but we did drive through the island and stopped at some scenic overlooks as well and the taxi driver was with us for about 5 hours or so.
