LHP Posted August 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Is there a karaoke bar on tha Valor? Carnival offers karaoke every night!! woo hoo!! On the Valor, it will either be in the back lounge (on Promenade all the way AFT) or in the cover lounge right beside it. You will see the time and location printed in the Caper. It usually runs the first hour as "family time" (meaning any age can sing) and then the rest of the time is "adult only"...(meaning any age can sit in there but only adults can sing). Melvin is currently the host but sadly he will be on vacation by the time you sail. He leaves in a couple of weeks. We will be cruising on Sept 27th...so I will come back on here and let you know who the "KH" is!!
LHP Posted August 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2009 And, if so--who is the karaoke host? Melvin leaves August 23rd. I have asked him who is replacing him...but he doesn't know yet. When he finds out...he will email me and I will post it on here!! Melvin is WONDERFUL BTW....IF you ever get to sail with him...you will have a BLAST!!! notme1955 Posted August 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 11, 2009 So, we're going to have a new karaoke host and a replacement CD. Great. Good thing I don't sail based on personnel! Although, on Victory there was a woman bartender on the Lido deck (most days) who made the BEST bloody mary I've ever had! It was perfect! She remembered exactly how I liked it and made one for me every morning! I would definitely choose a cruise based on which ship she was on! LOL! Problem is, I can't remember her name! Anyway, thanks for the info. We're going to have a blast--no matter what!
zandk Posted August 11, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Thank goodness there is one!!:p My DH and I spent most of the last cruise there. The bartender knew our names and drink orders by the second night.:D We are looking forward to sharing this cruise with a bunch of friends. Who knows, this time I may get up the nerve to try it.
