Left or Right side for Golden Princess So Caribbean?

Booked the Jan 28th 2006 So. Caribbean cruise. This will be our first time on Princess. Last year we cruised So Caribbean, and our friends were on opposite side of ship. They saw sunsets, and we saw sunrises, and going in/out of ports. Which is which for this particular cruise? We are going the balcony route. I would like to see sunsets. Also, any suggestions as to staterooms, excursions and where you like to stay on the ship etc are much appreciated!! This will only be our 3rd cruise! :) (But we're hooked!) Thanks!

We just got back from a B2B on the Golden and were on the left side for one week and the right side for the other. To tell the truth it didn't seem to matter much. Most of the sunsets were about the time the ship was pulling out of a port, sometimes we got them and sometimes we didn't. We did enjoy the left side more in San Juan because we were facing the water and old city instead of the dock. She's a great ship, have fun!!
