k2 Posted August 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2009 I have never been on the Majesty or this class ship, so I have a couple questions... Is there any self-serve icecream (sprinkles)? Are they still giving crown and anchor gifts for members? What time do they charge for room service? Do they require a jacket on formal night? Have they added a fee for the rock wall? Any tips for the Majesty? Do they still have a midnight buffet? Thanks for your input... can't wait!

Any tips for the Majesty? Do they still have a midnight buffet? Thanks for your input... can't wait! Just off her in May. For a ship as old as she is she sure still knows how to please!!! I do not remember self serve icecream C&A gifts are still given. We got the usual "grand-pa" hats The entire RCCL fleet charges for room service if you order past midnight (if I'm not mistaken) Formal night was little more laid back on this ship w/ the short itenerary. Keep in mind there were still some people that dressed to impress but most men were good w/ just a shirt and tie which I wore myself and some had a dress shirt w/ no tie. I've always wanted to do the rock wall but have not. I do not recall anyone saying anything about a fee for it. There are just scheduled times and its a first come first serve type deal from what we saw. The midnight buffet is still going. They have it up on deck and have a dance party. Some of the buffet is displayed and operated in the windjammer at the front of the ship for good reason (i.e. humidity outside and other health reasons) The best tip I can offer is: If you can swing it book a junior suite. Great access to the pool deck right above and they are actually fairly spacious and have nice balconies. Enjoy your cruise
