CABIN 9284 - Solstice

:confused::confused: Any photos of this cabin (on the hump) out there ?? I understand the balcony has some type of covering on the glass of the balcony (something to do with the X on the side of the ship) that hinders the view. I don't

want to change my location but would like more info about this. Thanks. :)

:):) Thanks Barry: The photos are very helpful --- just put my mind to ease.

Actually, the covered panels are actually "mirror-like" reflections back into

the cabin. Not a problem at all.

The room is the same as any stateroom on the S-Class ships. It's got the bed by the balcony. You'll have a normal balcony with a nice unobstructed view.

We were in 9274 on the Solstice and our sofa was next to balcony. I think 9272 has the sofa next to the closet. Both cabins are on the hump adjacent to the Card room, very convenient to elevator. Loved it.

Here's what the "X" obstruction looks like from room 9284. As you can see, it's translucent and does not block the view.

I'll be in cabin 9292 on the Silhouette on February 10th. I understand that this cabin has an oversized balcony. Does it have an obstruction as well?
